Rethink Afghanistan: A Conservative/ Republican Response to the Pro-War Movement

  • E. Allmond · 1 month ago
Afghanistan is a volatile region of the world. Afghanistan has always been a volatile region of the world. No country has ever succeeded in taming the fires that flare violently from time to time.

To participate is to fan these fires. What are the core reasons for wanting to fan these fires? What is to be gained from imposing a form of governance that the region has never seen and may not, as a whole, desire?

Those areas who will be friendly and more like us governmentally will be that; areas that don't wish to walk that path will not.

Is the issue that simple to anyone else?
